# Price Advice

> Help travelers decide whether to book a flight now or wait for a better price.

Price Advice helps an AI agent explain whether a flight is well priced and whether the traveler should book now or wait.

The agent starts with a selected flight and its current price. Jinko compares that fare with typical prices for similar flights, estimates how it may change, and returns a clear recommendation.

## How it works

1. The agent sends the flight details and current price to Jinko.
2. Jinko compares the fare with typical prices for similar flights.
3. Jinko forecasts the price one day and three days ahead.
4. Each forecast includes the probability of an increase, decrease, or no change.
5. Jinko recommends whether to book now or wait.

## Questions it can answer

Price Advice helps an agent answer questions such as:

1. "Is this a good price for this flight?"
2. "Should I book now or wait?"
3. "How could the price change tomorrow?"
4. "What is the expected price in three days?"
5. "How likely is the fare to increase or decrease?"

## A simple integration

Call `flight_price_advice` with MCP or `POST /v1/flight_price_advice` with the API after the traveler selects a live flight offer.

The result includes the fare assessment, the one-day and three-day forecasts, and a recommendation the agent can explain directly to the traveler. Price Advice does not search, monitor, or book the flight.
